Restoration of Work Portals for the Ministry of Culture and Korea Customs Service
Out of the 647 administrative information systems that were paralyzed due to the fire at the Daejeon headquarters of the National Information Resources Service, 165 systems have been restored, including 22 first-grade core systems.
According to the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters, as of 12:00 p.m. on October 8, the 13th day since the government information system disruptions caused by the fire at the National Information Resources Service, the recovery rate stands at 25.5%.

Late the previous day, the internal work portal of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism was restored, and on October 8, the Korea Customs Service's work support program was additionally recovered.
After the fire at the Daejeon headquarters of the National Information Resources Service on September 26 led to the suspension of 647 government information systems, the government has been mobilizing all available personnel and equipment to carry out recovery operations.
