According to Indonesian media outlets such as Kompas TV, the Indonesian police arrested a 40-year-old Korean man, identified as B, and a 45-year-old Indonesian man, identified as C, in connection with the death of a 27-year-old local woman, identified as A, last month, on charges including involuntary manslaughter.

According to the police, the three individuals became acquainted through social networking services (SNS). They reportedly took ecstasy, a type of narcotic, together at an entertainment venue in North Jakarta, and then headed to a hotel in Tangerang, Banten Province, near Jakarta.

Closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage from the time captured a man entering an elevator together with the victim.

The victim's condition rapidly deteriorated around 4 a.m. on the day of the incident, and she developed a high fever later that morning. She was found dead at approximately 12:30 p.m.

The police stated that an autopsy revealed contusions and organ damage caused by a blunt object on the victim's body. Drug tests also showed positive results for narcotics in the victim, B, and C.

The police believe that murder charges may be applied to both individuals. If convicted of murder under Indonesian criminal law, B and C could face up to 15 years in prison.
