"Only Foreigners Will Eat It"... Everland's K-Pop Demon Hunters Snack Set Nears 40,000 Won, Stirring Controversy

Everland's "K-Pop Demon Hunters" Theme Zone Opens on September 26
Attracts 10,000 Visitors in Just Five Days
K-Snack Set from the Series Priced at 38,000 Won Becomes a Hot Topic

Interest is surging as Everland's "K-Pop Demon Hunters" theme zone, created in collaboration with Netflix, welcomed 10,000 visitors in just five days. Meanwhile, the price of the K-Snack Set, which gained attention in the series, has become a hot topic online.

On October 2, theme park influencer Jaegueon posted on his social media, "Everland is selling a K-Pop Demon Hunters snack set for 38,000 won," sharing photos of the actual food served at the park.

After a recent visit to the K-Pop Demon Hunters theme zone, he explained, "At Snackbuster, which has been transformed into a K-Pop Demon Hunters restaurant, they are selling food sets themed after Huntrix and Sajaboys," and uploaded a post and video introducing the menu.

The video shows that the "Huntrix Set" includes tteokbokki, gimbap, sundae, fried chicken, and a cup of K-Pop Demon Hunters Shin Ramyun produced by Nongshim. The price is 38,000 won. The "Sajaboys Set" consists of Sriracha mayo tteokbokki, fish cake, fried chicken, and rice balls, priced at 36,000 won. With each set purchase, customers receive a K-Pop Demon Hunters poster featuring Huntrix and Sajaboys.

Jaegueon added, "Each set is designed for two to three adults," and commented, "Although the food selection and quality felt lacking for the price, a free poster is included with each set. If you are a fan of K-Pop Demon Hunters, I recommend experiencing it together."

Most netizens reacted that the price was too high. Comments on the post included, "This is truly gold-class snacks," "I thought I misread the price," "If you buy a 20,000 won poster, you get a snack set as a bonus," and "Every time Koreans walk by, they talk about the price. Only foreigners will end up eating this."

One netizen joked, "Maybe there are a lot of import duties since the content was made in the US." Others pointed out that food at theme parks is generally expensive, and considering the intellectual property rights of K-Pop Demon Hunters, the price is not entirely unreasonable.

Everland has been operating the K-Pop Demon Hunters theme zone since September 26, allowing visitors to experience the characters and universe through diverse content such as photo zones, mission games, and the original soundtrack. Since the day it first opened, there have been daily morning queues, and within five days, the number of visitors surpassed 10,000. More than 10,000 limited edition merchandise items have also been sold.
