Communicating with the Public During the Chuseok Holiday Special
Showcasing the Excellence, Diversity, and Appeal of K-Food
President Lee Jaemyung and First Lady Kim Hye-kyung will appear on the JTBC program "Please Take Care of My Refrigerator" on October 5 in celebration of the Chuseok holiday, according to the Office of the President on October 2. This episode will be broadcast as a "Chuseok Special: Please Take Care of My K-Refrigerator."
The program will feature Korea's seasonal ingredients, presenting dishes that are likely to appeal not only to Koreans but also to a global audience, combined with the creative ideas of Korea's top chefs.
As "K-Food Ambassadors," President Lee and the First Lady plan to introduce Korean seasonal agricultural and seafood products, traditional Chuseok dishes, and share candid stories about their favorite Korean foods and personal memories related to Chuseok.
The Office of the President expressed hope that this Chuseok special, which will be broadcast worldwide on Netflix, will convey the warmth of the holiday to the Korean people and showcase the unique appeal of K-Culture through food to a global audience.
