Reflecting Their Voices in Policy

He visited the market in person to support traditional market merchants who are struggling due to the local economic downturn and decreased consumer spending, and to listen to their firsthand opinions so that these can be reflected in future policies.
Mayor Noh stated, "We will strive to ease the burden on citizens' shopping expenses and revitalize local consumption," adding, "We will develop practical support measures so that the traditional market can become a place that citizens want to visit."
A city official said, "Taking this on-site visit as an opportunity, we will listen to the merchants' difficulties and actively reflect them in city administration. We will also prepare various programs to enhance the competitiveness of the traditional market and make it a place that citizens can use conveniently."
