Saewool Nuclear Power Practices Community Sharing for Chuseok

A Bountiful Chuseok, Sharing Love in Our Hometown!

Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (headed by So Youseop) conducted a variety of sharing activities and community volunteer work for welfare organizations and vulnerable groups in the Seosaeng area of Ulju County on October 1 and 2, in celebration of the Chuseok holiday.

On October 1, the company carried out environmental cleanup volunteer activities in the areas of Sinam and Sinri villages to mark the Chuseok holiday.

This initiative was organized to provide a clean and pleasant environment for local residents returning to their hometowns for the holiday. Employees of Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters participated in collecting trash along the coastlines and residential areas.

On October 2, in celebration of the holiday, the company delivered 372 bags of rice and 162 boxes of pears to 33 welfare organizations within Ulju County, including the Southern Region Community Child Center, sharing warmth and an abundance of food.

On the same day, Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters also conducted the "Delivery of Side Dishes of Love" volunteer activity in collaboration with the Ganjeolgot Nanumhoe. Twice a month, the Ganjeolgot Nanumhoe prepares side dishes and delivers them to 35 vulnerable households in Seosaeng-myeon, including elderly people living alone and households with disabilities.

So Youseop, head of Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters, stated, "I hope everyone enjoys a happy Chuseok holiday," adding, "We will continue to carry out a variety of social contribution activities to provide practical support for vulnerable groups in the region."

Each year, Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters contributes to the improvement of local welfare through various social contribution activities, including sharing events for Chuseok and Lunar New Year, kimchi sharing, and mobile welfare center visits.
