On October 2, Dolphin Kidnappers, a production company under Kakao Entertainment, released a video titled "What Happened in the APEC 2025 KOREA Parking Lot" through terrestrial and cable TV channels as well as YouTube.

The video opens with G-Dragon, dressed as a pilot, entering a traditional Korean-style restaurant. Inside, film director Park Chanwook, former soccer player Park Jisung, and DJ Peggy Gou are seated, while Chef An Sungjae serves a dish shaped like Cheomseongdae. G-Dragon then shouts, "Welcome to APEC," prompting Jang Wonyoung, dressed in hanbok, to appear and say, "Please move your 2025 car," delivering a delightful twist.

G-Dragon is then seen piloting the "APEC 2025" aircraft as if reversing into a parking spot. At this moment, President Lee Jaemyung appears as a parking attendant, waving his arms. Following the president's gestures, the Korean airplane finds its place among aircraft from other countries. The video concludes with the message, "THE WORLD COMES TO KOREA," highlighting Gyeongju as the destination.

Director Shin Wooseok, who led the project, stated, "As our country continues to carve out its unique space on the global stage through K-content, I wanted to break away from the familiar conventions of national event promotional videos and deliver the message in a distinctive way."

Regarding President Lee's participation, he explained, "I thought it was essential to feature a figure representing the host country, but I wanted to avoid a formal, authoritative image. That's why I suggested the role of a parking attendant organizing the airplanes, and he gladly accepted."

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs commented on the video, saying, "The scene metaphorically represents Korea overcoming chaos and returning to the international community in an orderly manner." Only minimal production costs were supported for this video, and all cast and crew participated without any guarantee.

The 2025 APEC Summit, hosted by Korea as the chair country, will take place in Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang Province, from October 31 to November 1, 2025.
