Korean Air and Asiana Airlines Hold 'Joint Instructors' Conference'

Korean Air announced on the 2nd that it held the '2025 Second Half Instructors' Conference and Joint Integration Workshop' together with Asiana Airlines on the 1st at the Korean Air headquarters in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, and at the Gyeyang Gymnasium in Incheon.

This event was organized ahead of the launch of the integrated airline to discuss the development of flight training policies, which are key to safe operations, and to standardize the flight education system. It also aimed to strengthen unity and solidarity among instructors from both companies. Over 150 instructors from both airlines, responsible for pilot flight practice, ground training, and aircraft systems education, attended the event.


The instructors' conference, held at the main auditorium of the headquarters, began with opening remarks from Kim Haeryong, Executive Vice President of Flight Operations at Korean Air, and served as an opportunity to reaffirm the professionalism and sense of responsibility in flight crew training. In the afternoon, the venue shifted to Gyeyang Gymnasium in Incheon, where the integrated workshop was held to facilitate communication and exchange among participants.


A Korean Air representative stated, "The integrated Korean Air will go beyond simply merging human and material resources, and will serve as a new opportunity to combine the strengths of both companies for greater advancement. We hope this workshop will serve as a catalyst for instructors from both airlines to cooperate under the shared goal of safe operations."
