Including Junghwa 5 and Myeonmok 9 Districts

Through this agreement, Jungnang District and LH will actively promote urban renewal projects, including public redevelopment in Junghwa 5 District and Myeonmok 9 District, public reconstruction in Mangwoo 1 District, small-scale reconstruction of the Jangmi Apartment complex in Muk-dong, and the Myeonmok Burim street housing maintenance project. In addition, they plan to systematically promote public-led housing supply, including the low-rise residential area near Yongma Tunnel and the urban public housing complex project near Sagajeong Station.
The main contents of the agreement focus on providing administrative support to create favorable conditions for project implementation, improving the residential environment, and expanding housing supply to ensure residential stability, as well as improving urban infrastructure and strengthening the cooperation system.
In addition to public-led projects, Jungnang District is also accelerating private-led housing supply, such as five private redevelopment zones and 14 Moa Town sites, in line with the recently announced "Rapid Integrated Planning 2.0" on September 29. The district expects these efforts to bring dramatic changes to the local skyline within the next 10 years.
The signing ceremony was held on October 1 in the Jungnang District Office, attended by Ryu Kyunggi, Mayor of Jungnang District, Park Hyungeun, Head of LH Seoul Regional Headquarters, and representatives of local residents involved in the projects.
Ryu Kyunggi, Mayor of Jungnang District, emphasized, "This agreement will serve as a solid foundation for improving the urban and residential environment of Jungnang District," adding, "We will continue to work closely with related organizations to do our utmost to enhance housing services for our residents."
