According to the 'Act on Support for Out-of-School Youth,' the eligible recipients are: ▲ youth who have been absent from elementary or middle school for more than three months after enrollment or whose compulsory education has been deferred due to illness or other reasons ▲ youth who have been expelled, withdrawn, or have not advanced to high school.
Through this project, the corporation, in collaboration with World Vision, plans to provide educational expenses such as academy tuition and certification acquisition fees to out-of-school youth nationwide to help them achieve academic success. In addition, for those aspiring to careers in the arts and sports, the corporation will support lesson fees and related costs.
Kim Kyunghwan, President of Korea Housing Finance Corporation, stated, "We support out-of-school youth who are in the blind spots of the formal education system so that they can achieve their dreams," adding, "We will continue to provide attention and support to help these young people grow into healthy members of society."
