Chairman Cho Sohaeng: "We Will Establish a Comprehensive Support System Encompassing Consulting, Education, and Financial Welfare Beyond Guarantees"
On the occasion of its 27th anniversary, the Chungnam Credit Guarantee Foundation has firmly established itself as the leading financial support institution in Chungnam Province, achieving two major milestones: earning the highest grade in the Chungnam Province management evaluation for nine consecutive years and receiving a Prime Minister’s Institutional Commendation.
On October 1, the foundation held a ceremony at its Naepo headquarters auditorium to mark its 27th anniversary, attended by more than 50 executives and staff members.
Chairman Cho Sohaeng emphasized that the foundation achieved the highest grade (Grade A) for institutions for nine consecutive years and for institution heads for four consecutive years in the 2025 Chungcheongnam-do management evaluation.
He also shared that the foundation received the Prime Minister’s Institutional Commendation on September 18, highlighting it as a symbolic achievement in which both the institution and its head received the highest grade among public institutions in Chungnam.
The foundation expects to provide approximately 1.1 trillion won in new guarantees and reach a guarantee balance of 2.95 trillion won by the end of this year. It also aims to raise about 70 billion won in contributions, with the goal of ushering in the “3 trillion won guarantee balance era” in 2026.
In particular, beyond its guarantee services, the foundation is significantly strengthening non-financial support such as management consulting, tax and accounting advisory, and online marketing education, systematically supporting local small business owners throughout the entire business cycle-from startup to recovery and re-challenge.
Additionally, the foundation is driving digital innovation by opening a Financial Welfare Counseling Center, operating the Himssen Chungnam Financial Support Center, expanding non-face-to-face guarantee assessments, and promoting the “Guarantee Dream App.”
Chairman Cho stated, “As the core financial partner of the Chungnam economy, the foundation will remain a strong pillar for small business owners,” adding, “As we approach our 30th anniversary, we will uphold our three main promises: establishing a comprehensive support system beyond guarantees, balancing financial stability and growth, and creating a foundation where employees are happy.”
