According to Woori Children's Medical Foundation, this visit went beyond a simple on-site inspection. It served as an opportunity to assess the current state and challenges of the cooperation system aimed at minimizing gaps in pediatric care in Seoul and to discuss policy improvements. Chairman Park was accompanied by his aides, while Woori Children's Medical Foundation was represented by Chairman Jung Sungkwan, Seongbuk Woori Children's Hospital Director Yoo Byungkeun, Director Kim Minsang, Administrative Director Shin Hyunbok, and Nursing Director Lee Hyunsook.

Chairman Park received a briefing from Chairman Jung on the operational status of Seongbuk Woori Children's Hospital and its achievements in participating in government policy projects. During the subsequent meeting, he listened to the difficulties faced at the medical field and policy suggestions from the staff.

Director Kim Minsang explained that both Woori Children's Hospital and Seongbuk Woori Children's Hospital have been designated as Dalbit Children's Hospitals, serving as central institutions for pediatric care cooperation networks in the southwestern and northeastern regions of Seoul, respectively. He highlighted that the hospitals have established a stable care referral network by closely collaborating with participating institutions, supporting organizations, and partner pharmacies. He also noted the maintenance of a continuous care system through the 24-hour operation of the Chingu Clinic, which enables safe treatment at any time, and the strengthening of patient transfer and collaborative care systems through agreements with multiple tertiary hospitals. Furthermore, he emphasized that both hospitals were selected for the Ministry of Health and Welfare's Essential Specialized Function Enhancement Support Project, receiving recognition for their specialized expertise, and that, uniquely nationwide, they provide seamless 24-hour pediatric care services.

Chairman Park stated, "In celebration of Chuseok this year, I visited Seongbuk Woori Children's Hospital to inspect the emergency medical support system for children and adolescents in Seoul during the extended holiday period." He added, "I ask that you continue your efforts on the frontlines so that Seoul citizens can confidently receive essential pediatric and adolescent medical services even during the holidays." He further emphasized, "The National Assembly will also do its utmost to provide necessary support and improve laws and systems."

Chairman Jung expressed his gratitude, saying, "I deeply thank Chairman Park Jumin for always taking the lead in improving our country's medical services and quality of care as Chairman of the Health and Welfare Committee." He continued, "Your visit to the medical field and your empathy for the hardships of the medical staff are a great encouragement. As always, we will do our best to provide the highest level of seamless medical services."

Meanwhile, Woori Children's Hospital and Seongbuk Woori Children's Hospital are the only specialized pediatric hospitals in the country that operate a 24-hour, 365-day care system.
