In particular, the festival will introduce watercolor fireworks and the big tree fireworks technique for the first time, providing visitors with an even more unique experience.
Starting this year, the city will directly plan and operate the festival, strengthen traffic and safety measures, and overhaul the overall operating system to improve conditions for attendees.
As a large crowd is expected on the day of the event, the city will cooperate with relevant agencies to monitor the situation in real time and deploy a significant number of safety personnel to ensure a safe festival without any accidents.
Additionally, a citizen cooperation group composed of residents’ councils and merchants’ associations from nearby Jungang-dong and Dongmun-dong will participate on-site as safety guardians and assist with environmental maintenance, contributing to the successful operation of the festival.
Mayor Chung Kimyung stated, "Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, the Yeosu Night Sea Fireworks Festival is a unique event created together by citizens and visitors. We will do our utmost to ensure that everyone can enjoy the festival, where Yeosu’s night sea and fireworks come together, in a safe and pleasant environment."
