15,000 Participants Expected
Meet Characters and Enjoy Performances on 3km and 10km Courses
Walt Disney Company Korea announced on October 1 that it will host the country's first Disney-themed running event, "Disney Run Seoul 2025," at the Culture Square in Yeouido Park, Seoul, on the 11th. Approximately 15,000 participants are expected to join.
The event will feature two courses: 3 kilometers and 10 kilometers. The 3-kilometer course is designed for families and celebrates the November release of the film "Zootopia 2." The 10-kilometer course, themed after "Mickey and Friends," starts at Yeouido Park, passes the National Assembly building and Sogang Bridge, and returns to the starting point.
At the venue, there will be stretching sessions led by professional instructors, photo zones, pop-up booths, and a "Zootopia 2" character photo zone. At the finish line, the brass ensemble Urban Brass will perform Disney soundtracks. Disney characters will also make appearances at the event.
Finishers will receive medals. The 3-kilometer medal features Nick and Judy from "Zootopia 2," while the 10-kilometer medal is engraved with Mickey and Minnie. The top male and female finishers in the 10-kilometer race will receive trophies designed by LEGO-certified artist Kim Seungyu.
Official sponsors include Uniqlo, which is providing the official uniforms, as well as Samsung Electronics, Crocs, LEGO, and Starbucks. These sponsors will host experience zones and prize events. More details can be found on the official website.
