Underrodem Nursing Hospital Newly Selected
The Daegu Regional Veterans Affairs Office Veterans Support Center (Director Kim Jongsul) under the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs held a "Plaque Presentation and Signboard Ceremony for Excellent Veterans Employment Companies" at Underrodem Nursing Hospital in Dongmyeong, Chilgok County, on September 30.
Daegu Veterans Support Center has newly selected "Underrodem Nursing Hospital" as an excellent employment company and held a plaque ceremony.
The "Excellent Veterans Employment Company Certification System" is an annual program by the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs, which selects and certifies companies and organizations that actively hire veterans and provide outstanding employment environments during Veterans Week. Certified companies receive a variety of promotional and support benefits.
This year, Underrodem Nursing Hospital was newly selected in the Daegu and North Gyeongsang region, while six other companies received recertification. Since its establishment in 2009, Underrodem Nursing Hospital signed a business agreement with the Daegu Veterans Support Center in 2016 and currently employs six veterans. The hospital has consistently collaborated to support the stable social reintegration of veterans.
Director Kim Jongsul stated, "This certification is a meaningful achievement in supporting veterans' successful settlement in society," and added, "I hope more local companies will actively participate in expanding employment opportunities for veterans."
