Jang Eunsoo was named Rookie of the Year on the KLPGA regular tour in 2017. She ranked 99th on the regular tour money list for the 2024 season, which is why she has been competing on the second division tour this year. Having entered this event as a recommended player, Jang has now secured her Dream Tour seed through the 2026 season.
Jang said, “My strengths are the accuracy of my iron shots and putting, and today my shots went exactly where I wanted and my swing tempo was good, so overall it was a satisfying round.” She added with a bright smile, “Before the final 9-meter putt in the playoff, I could see the entire line.” Regarding her future goals, she stated, “I want to win the Dream Tour Championship this season. Next year, my goal is to win on the regular tour.”
