Transitioned from 10 years in corporate life to entrepreneurship
Sells Notion templates and shares tips on personal finance and workplace success

"My goal is to help ordinary people achieve overwhelming results. I want to share the secrets that enable anyone to reach their desired goals."

'Normaly' is a YouTube channel that delivers a wide range of information to Millennials & Gen Z, covering topics such as personal finance, time management, and workplace tips. The channel is run by No Ahyoung, who, after graduating from an engineering college, worked for a major telecommunications company as an engineer and planner for 10 years. She started the YouTube channel as a hobby in 2021, and earlier this year, she left her job to fully pursue her path as an entrepreneur.

No, the CEO, has always been passionate about business, to the extent that she once created and operated a matchmaking service during her university days. She said, "The anxiety I felt during my 7-8 years of work, wondering 'Is this really okay?', rekindled my forgotten dream of starting a business," adding, "YouTube was the first step toward that dream."

The Normaly channel is characterized by No's candid sharing of her experiences. She openly reveals not only her decade-long career at a major corporation and her ordinary daily life, but also her financial achievements, such as being in the top 1% of her peers in terms of assets according to financial app standards and achieving a 100% return on stock investments. Thanks to this, videos on topics such as "Running 5km Every Day" (420,000 views), "Building Habits to Save Living Expenses" (330,000 views), "33 Workplace Tips" (260,000 views), and "How to Choose Ultra-Short-Term Deposits" (240,000 views) have received positive responses. As a result, the channel currently boasts approximately 69,000 subscribers.

No explained, "Many people are curious about how their peers live and accumulate assets, but it's not easy to find out," adding, "I shared my trials and successes so that viewers in similar situations could relate more and trust the information."

Recently, she has started selling tools that allow subscribers to apply the secrets presented in her content to their daily lives. Her self-designed Notion templates are a prime example. These templates are designed to help a diverse range of people-including office workers, multi-jobbers, stock investors, and dieters-record their journals and improve their work efficiency. To this end, she introduced the "YouTube Shopping" feature via the e-commerce platform Cafe24, displaying products within each piece of content or in the channel's "Store" tab. As a result, sales generated through YouTube now account for 30-40% of total revenue.

She also improves her products based on customer reviews. Recently, after receiving feedback from a customer who wanted to link top-level projects in the to-do list of the work journal template to manage work more systematically, she made significant enhancements to the template's features. As a result, sales in August increased by 49% compared to the previous month. No commented, "Utilizing YouTube Shopping enables us to effectively expose products to viewers who may not have been interested initially, thereby increasing purchase conversion rates."

Going forward, the Normaly brand plans to continuously expand its business scope. After publishing her book "A Book for Ambitious but Lazy People," which is based on her own experiences, No is now planning bootcamp-style lectures and workshops for those dreaming of side hustles or solo businesses, leveraging her experience of achieving 20 million won in monthly sales within six months of leaving her job. No stated, "I prepared carefully for a long time before leaving my corporate job, and since starting this new chapter of my life, I have never regretted it," adding, "My ultimate goal is to become a reliable partner who provides people with the information they need to live, helping ordinary people achieve overwhelming results more easily."
