The Korean Flower Botanical Garden is located at 777-17, 3.1 Manse-ro, Paltan-myeon, and covers an area of 128,312㎡. The botanical garden features a four-season pavilion built in the style of a stone mountain and traditional Korean house, outdoor flower beds, a rock garden, and more. Visitors can enjoy over 1,100 species of plants throughout the year.
The newly established moss garden showcases various types of moss, including Sphagnum moss, Phoenix moss, Raccoon tail moss, Shaded daehokotail moss, and Naimu moss, as well as a diverse range of ferns such as Water fern, Snake's tail, Gorancho, and Saw centipede fern.
The botanical garden plans to continue cultivating the moss garden using ferns, bryophytes, and other plants acquired through its ongoing research projects.
The city also plans to continuously discover and introduce representative plant species to diversify the exhibits at the Korean Flower Botanical Garden as part of the large-scale green space project "Botanic Garden Hwaseong," which is being promoted in connection with Yeoul Park in the eastern region and other sites.
Meanwhile, the Korean Flower Botanical Garden is open to visitors from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. However, it will be closed on the day of Chuseok, which falls on October 6.
