Myung Ryun Jinsa Galbi Accelerates Southeast Asia Expansion with Successful Launch of Ninth Branch in the Philippines

Myung Ryun Dang Co., Ltd., which operates Myung Ryun Jinsa Galbi, a leading Korean charcoal-grilled pork rib franchise, announced on September 30 that it officially opened its ninth location in the Philippines at Gateway Mall in Quezon City on September 5, accelerating its entry into the Southeast Asian market.

The newly opened Gateway Mall branch is located in a prime commercial area where the transfer station for the MRT and LRT in the Philippines is situated. The mall houses a large concert hall and sports stadium, resulting in high foot traffic, and its location offers the advantage of attracting both office workers and families as customers.

In particular, the area near the store is densely populated with BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) call centers, which is expected to generate steady revenue through demand from office gatherings on weekdays and family visitors on weekends. The Gateway Mall branch covers approximately 280 square meters and operates from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. from Sunday to Thursday, and until 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

A representative from Myung Ryun Jinsa Galbi stated, "We are directly experiencing the growth of the Philippine dining-out market, and with this new opening, we have confirmed even greater potential and opportunities for development. We are currently in discussions with managers of various malls in different regions, and if conditions are favorable, we are planning additional openings."

Myung Ryun Dang Co., Ltd., the franchisor of Myung Ryun Jinsa Galbi, is operating this new location as a company-owned store, aiming to strengthen brand awareness and invigorate the local market at the same time. Building on the successful opening of its ninth branch in the Philippines, the company plans to continue expanding throughout Southeast Asia in the future.
