Gwangyang Free Economic Zone Authority (headed by Koo Chungkon, hereinafter referred to as Gwangyang FEZ Authority) has continued its sharing activities by visiting social welfare facilities within its jurisdiction and delivering consolation gifts ahead of Chuseok, starting from September 22.
This year’s visits included a total of seven facilities: three in Gwangyang City (Gwangyeong Sarang Senior Welfare Center, Gaonnuri Senior Welfare Center, and Onmaeum Daycare Center), two in Yeosu City, and two in Hadong County, South Gyeongsang Province. Gwangyang FEZ Authority personally delivered daily necessities and rice, among other items needed by each facility, and offered words of encouragement to the staff.

Since its establishment in 2004, Gwangyang FEZ Authority has continued its sharing activities by visiting welfare facilities every Lunar New Year and Chuseok holiday, and this year as well, the agency is fulfilling its role as a community partner by sharing warmth with the local community.
On September 30, Koo Chungkon, Commissioner of Gwangyang FEZ Authority, stated, "I am pleased that we can share even a little warmth with our neighbors in need during Chuseok, the nation’s biggest holiday," adding, "We will continue our sharing activities together with the local community in the future."
