Online Festival Hosted on Daum Portal
Cheongsong County in North Gyeongsang Province will host the 19th Cheongsong Apple Festival as an online event on the portal site Daum from September 29 to November 2, 2025.
The online Cheongsong Apple Festival, which saw a record-breaking participation of 1 million people last year, has become an opportunity to attract a new customer base, including Millennials & Gen Z who are familiar with mobile environments. To communicate with even more people, the festival will be held both online and offline this year.
By allowing participants to indirectly experience on-site programs through the online festival, the event aims to increase interest and participation in the festival, attract more visitors, secure the sustainability and stability of the Cheongsong Apple Festival, and take a step toward becoming a global festival.
The online festival will promote major tourist attractions in Cheongsong and the apple festival itself, and will feature its signature "killer content" as online games, such as Honey Fun-Apple Nanta and Challenge-Apple Sorting Lotto, so that people of all ages can enjoy them anytime and anywhere without time or space constraints.
To participate, simply search for "Cheongsong," "Cheongsong County," "Cheongsong Apple," or "Cheongsong Apple Festival" in the search bar on the Daum portal site to access the online festival.
The 19th Cheongsong Apple Festival will be held for five days from October 29 to November 2, 2025, at Yongjeoncheon in Cheongsong-eup, when Cheongsong apples are at their peak.
The 19th Cheongsong Apple Festival will feature a variety of exhibition, sales, and experience booths, as well as participatory programs such as the Cheongsong Apple Parade and the National Cheongsong Apple Flower Garland Contest, bringing together residents and tourists. There will also be various experience programs such as Cheongsong Golden Bell and Apple Bat, and a wide range of performances, including Hello Concert Good Day and the World Confucian Culture Festival.
County Governor Yoon Kyunghee said, "We have prepared both online and offline events again this year so that more people can enjoy the Cheongsong Apple Festival. I hope you enjoy the festival online first, and then visit the offline venue to fully experience the rich sights and activities."
