The "Kim Yoojung Blue Literature Awards" is a prestigious competition established to honor the literary spirit of Kim Yoojung, a master of modern Korean literature, and to discover young writers who will lead the future literary scene. This year’s contest saw fierce competition among numerous entries submitted from across the country.

The judging committee praised Kim Jinha’s work for "delicately depicting the inner conflicts and anxieties of adolescents through the unique and poetic motif of 'jellyfish,' while also unfolding the story with a fresh and compelling narrative." In particular, the work was highly regarded for its outstanding completeness and originality, as it not only addressed adolescent emotions but also deeply explored the universal themes of human loneliness and growth.

Kim Jinha said, "It is an honor to receive a literary award named after Kim Yoojung, a writer I have always respected. I would like to express my gratitude to my family and friends who have been a great support while I was writing," adding, "Since I was chosen for the potential seen in my still-developing writing, I will work even harder to improve going forward."

Principal Jeon Kyunghee of Dongmun High School stated, "Kim Jinha’s award is not only a testament to her outstanding talent and passion, but also the result of our school’s efforts to nurture students’ potential through various educational activities. Dongmun High School will continue to do its best to create an educational environment where students can fully develop their creative abilities."
