Gwangju Urban Corporation (President Kim Seungnam) announced on September 29 that it recently operated a mobile consultation service called "Visiting Integrated Support," a customized comprehensive consultation service for rental housing residents.
This project was implemented following a pilot operation in May, providing on-site, tailored consultations to residents experiencing difficulties in various areas such as housing, finance, legal matters, and employment. In particular, it is significant in that the service directly visits and supports residents who find it difficult to visit institutions due to work or other obligations.
The consultations were held at Usanbit Yeoulchae (Songgwang Community Welfare Center), with over 100 residents and local community members participating. The event featured participation from 12 organizations, including Gwangju City, offering integrated consultations and information across all areas, including housing, finance, legal matters, employment, and welfare.
The participating organizations included Gwangju City, Gwangju Urban Corporation, Gwangju Housing Welfare Center, Gwangsan-gu Office, Korea Inclusive Finance Agency, Credit Counseling and Recovery Service, Korea Asset Management Corporation, Gwangju Bank, Gwangju Youth Dream Bank, Gwangju Employment Welfare Plus Center, Korea Employment Agency for Persons with Disabilities, Middle-aged and Senior Tomorrow Center, and Buk-gu Women's New Work Center. These organizations provided integrated consultations on-site, along with policy guidance and promotional activities.
President Kim Seungnam stated, "It is meaningful that we can directly listen to and resolve the everyday issues of our residents through the Visiting Integrated Support consultations. We will continue to make ongoing efforts to support the stability and independence of our residents through customized support."
