It is shocking to see that a safety facility in a children's protection zone in the Daepyeong-dong area of Sejong City has been left damaged and unattended. This situation threatens the safety of children passing through the area and has drawn disapproval from local residents.

At around 9:00 p.m. on the 28th, the reporting team visited the site and photographed the damaged safety facility. The location is between Haedeul Village Complex 4 and Complex 5, where both a kindergarten and a daycare center are situated. The safety facility for the children's protection zone and the flower bed planted along the sidewalk were found to be damaged. Although this is a residential area and Boram Neighborhood Park is nearby, there are neither traffic lights nor a crosswalk installed at the site. The area is considered a high-risk zone within Daepyeong-dong, requiring drivers to exercise particular caution.

In particular, the site had not been repaired and debris from a car bumper remained, which the reporting process confirmed, indicating that the damage was caused by a vehicle. In summary, although an accident had occurred at the site, the administrative authorities had not taken any action to address the situation, leaving it neglected.
