Up to 449 Horsepower, Certified as Low-Emission Vehicle Type 2
Limited Edition Restricted to 15 Units
Mercedes-Benz Korea has launched the high-performance coupe model, the Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 4MATIC+ Coupe, and to commemorate the occasion, is introducing a limited edition version.
The CLE Coupe is a high-performance two-door coupe that features the distinctive driving performance of the Mercedes-AMG brand. Last year, Mercedes-Benz introduced the CLE Coupe and Cabriolet, and in February, released the high-performance open-top Mercedes-AMG CLE Cabriolet. With the launch of the CLE Coupe, the full CLE lineup is now complete. From January to August this year, the CLE Coupe and Cabriolet have sold 2,215 units, achieving a market share of approximately 35%.
The CLE Coupe is equipped with a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine (M256M), delivering a maximum output of 449 horsepower (ps) and a peak torque of 57.1 kg.m. The second-generation integrated starter generator provides up to 17 kW of additional power during start-up. Paired with the AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9G transmission, which features short shift times, quick response, and double-clutching capability, the vehicle has also earned low-emission vehicle type 2 certification, offering benefits such as reduced congestion tolls and public parking fees.
Standard features include the variable all-wheel drive AMG Performance 4MATIC+, which ensures optimal traction and high driving safety in various road conditions; the AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension, which adjusts each wheel's damping based on driving and road conditions for superior handling and a high level of ride comfort; and rear axle steering, which supports a rear-wheel steering angle of up to 2.5 degrees.
The vehicle is also equipped with AMG DYNAMIC SELECT, allowing drivers to adjust the engine, transmission, suspension, and steering response.
The interior emphasizes a bold impression with a combination of Power Red and Black colors. The headrest-integrated sports seats are upholstered in two-tone Nappa leather, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster along with an 11.9-inch portrait-oriented central LCD display provide a wide range of information at a glance.
The third-generation MBUX infotainment system is installed, allowing access to both domestic and international applications. Standard features include: wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto; a toll settlement system that displays Hi-Pass payment amounts and balances on the central display; ventilated and heated front seats; a heated steering wheel; and a heated windshield washer system.
The Limited Edition is based on the MANUFAKTUR color palette, with exclusive accent colors and options. The MANUFAKTUR Graphite Grey Magno color is paired with yellow lines and AMG lettering film, creating a sporty and youthful feel. Yellow accents are also added to the rim of the 20-inch forged wheels, while gray brake calipers enhance the elegance. The interior features black Nappa leather with yellow stitching and seat belts. Only 15 units will be sold.
The domestic prices for the standard CLE Coupe and the Limited Edition are 107.7 million won and 131.3 million won, respectively (including VAT and reflecting the individual consumption tax reduction).
