Gwangju Namgu Social Security Council Holds Social Welfare Day Gathering

The Gwangju Namgu Community Social Security Council announced on the 26th that it held the 26th Social Welfare Day event, "Namgu, Plunging into Welfare Love!!!," a social welfare gathering for Namgu social workers.

The event, which took place on the 25th in the main auditorium on the first floor of the Namgu Multipurpose Gymnasium, was attended by approximately 400 people, including social welfare workers in Namgu and Namgu District Office staff responsible for social welfare work. The event was organized to reflect on the significance of social welfare, encourage one another's hard work, and strengthen the foundation of the welfare community.

As part of the commemorative program, commendations were presented to outstanding individuals from both the private and public sectors in social welfare, and a plaque of appreciation was awarded to a representative from KB Kookmin Bank for their contributions to the advancement of welfare and social contribution in Namgu. The event also featured fun and engaging games and programs, providing participants with opportunities to communicate and foster unity.

Lee Sunmi, the private sector chairperson of the Gwangju Namgu Community Social Security Council, said, "I am very grateful that we were able to continue this event again this year following last year," adding, "I hope that social welfare workers in Namgu will inherit the community spirit of our ancestors and once again reflect on and put into practice the meaning of a warm community in Namgu."
