Kyowon Group Continues Social Contribution Campaigns for 40th Anniversary

Inviting Children from Local Community Centers for the "Gratitude Sharing Tour"
Offering Opportunities to Experience Independence Movement Sites and Chinese Culture
Plans to Donate Red Pen Book Series and Air Purifiers

On September 26, Kyowon Group announced that it will carry out a variety of campaigns to express gratitude to customers, society, and its employees in celebration of its 40th anniversary.

This reflects the value of "lifelong relationships," which Chairman Jang Pyungsoon has established as a core management philosophy. The goal is to share the achievements of the past 40 years, which were built on a sustainable growth model that emphasizes sharing the fruits of success, and to reaffirm Kyowon Group's commitment to warm, mutual growth.

As the first event of its 40th anniversary campaign, Kyowon Group successfully concluded the "Kyowon Gratitude Sharing Tour," a social contribution program supporting overseas cultural experiences for children from local community centers, marking the official start of its anniversary initiatives.

The Kyowon Gratitude Sharing Tour was held in Shanghai, China, from September 21 to 24. Ninety-six participants, including children and parents from seven local community centers selected by co-host Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation, took part in the event. They visited historical sites related to Korea’s independence movement, such as the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea building, Hongkou Park, Maewon, and Yongjingfang, as well as experienced the history and culture of both countries by touring Shanghai Yuyuan Old Street, Nanjing Road, Oriental Pearl Tower, and the Shanghai Circus performance.

As part of the Kyowon Gratitude Sharing campaign in November, Kyowon Group plans to donate popular Red Pen book series and Kyowon Wells air purifiers, "Tornado," to local community centers nationwide. The aim is to support children’s academic and emotional development and provide a pleasant living environment to promote balanced growth.

A Kyowon Group representative stated, "Rather than a self-congratulatory event, we wanted to add meaning to our 40th anniversary by expressing our gratitude and giving back to customers, society, employees, and their families," adding, "We will continue to pursue innovation for a better life for our customers and fulfill our social responsibilities, fostering warm, mutual growth."
