Opening Ceremony Without Formal Speeches for Children
Popular Programs Featuring Lee Eungyeol and Hello Carbot
A time when children's dreams and adults' memories come together-the Chuncheon Anitoi Festival will be held next month.
Chuncheon City in Gangwon Province (Mayor Yuk Donghan) will host the 2025 Chuncheon Anitoi Festival from October 17 to 19 at the Chuncheon Animation Museum and its surrounding area.
This year, the Chuncheon Anitoi Festival-Chuncheon's signature family-friendly event-will be held under the theme "Dreaming Child, Once a Dreamer," creating a space for intergenerational connection and empathy. Notably, the opening ceremony will forgo formal speeches for children and instead kick off the festivities with participatory performances and a marching band show.
The festival venue will offer a wide range of programs for all ages, including the Lee Eungyeol Special, Bread Barbershop Sing-Along Show, Hello Carbot Sing-Along Show with Berry, animation screenings, busking performances, and a collaborative coloring book activity.
In addition, visitors can experience and view exhibitions of various cultural content in collaboration with the Gangwon Content Korea Lab, Gangwon Metaverse Support Center, Chuncheon Video Industry Support Center, and the city library.
Details on the schedule and programs are available on the official Chuncheon Anitoi Festival website, and advance reservations for main stage performance tickets will be accepted through the website starting at 1 p.m. on the 29th.
Park Kyungmi, Head of the Advanced Industry Division, stated, "The Anitoi Festival is a celebration the whole family can enjoy together," adding, "This year's event will be even richer, with local creators and content companies participating in the programs.
