Ulsan City Holds Onnuri Gift Certificate Rebate Event at Traditional Markets for Chuseok

Up to 20,000 Won in Onnuri Gift Certificates
for Domestic Seafood Purchases from October 1 to 5

Ulsan City will hold a rebate event ahead of Chuseok to stabilize seafood prices and boost consumption at traditional markets. Customers who purchase domestic seafood will receive up to 30% of the purchase amount back in Onnuri gift certificates.

This event, organized by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, will run for five days from October 1 to October 5.

On the day of purchase, customers can receive a rebate of 30% of the purchase amount for domestic seafood, up to a maximum of 20,000 won per person, in the form of Onnuri gift certificates.

In Ulsan, nine markets will participate: the Taehwa General Market and Ujeong Market Union, Guyeokjeon Market, Hakseong Morning Market (three locations) in Jung-gu; Sinjeong Market, Sinjeong Shopping Center Market, Suam Shopping Center Market, Suam Fish and Seafood Market, and the Fisheries Retail Section of the Agricultural and Fisheries Market (five locations) in Nam-gu; and Nammok Maseong Market (one location) in Dong-gu.

However, at Eonyang Alps Market in Ulju-gun, which has been designated as a special disaster area, the rebate event will be held from September 26 to September 30.

For purchases of at least 34,000 won, customers will receive 10,000 won in Onnuri gift certificates. For purchases of at least 67,000 won, they will receive 20,000 won. The event may end early if the supply of gift certificates runs out.

To receive the rebate, customers must bring their receipt from the day of purchase and a form of identification (such as an ID card or credit card) to the designated rebate booth inside the traditional market.

An official from Ulsan City stated, "We hope this Chuseok discount event will help ease the burden of grocery prices for citizens."
