Lotte Insurance Adds Autumn-Themed Insurance Gift Feature to Alice App

On September 26, Lotte Insurance announced that it has added a gift-giving feature to its lifestyle platform "Alice," following the launch of golf insurance, as well as Deokming Out, Activity, and "Bad Child" insurance products.

The gift-giving feature on Lotte Insurance Alice is designed to ensure not only the safety of the user but also that of companions during activities enjoyed together, such as golf, fandom activities, hiking, and camping.

Furthermore, in line with the growing trend of mobile gifting, the company has made it easy to give insurance as a practical gift in everyday life instead of expensive presents. The key feature is that people can provide real help by gifting insurance products that are actually useful in daily life.

Customers can easily gift any of the four insurance services on the Alice application with about 10 clicks or fewer, simply by completing authentication before payment.

The insurance policy is sent instantly via text message or KakaoTalk. The recipient only needs to go through identity verification and agree to the contract to be immediately covered by the insurance.

First, the "CREW Golf Insurance," which is popular during the autumn golf season, covers not only basic golf insurance benefits such as hole-in-one expenses (up to 2 million won) and liability, but also provides driver coverage for personal injury fines and criminal settlement fees related to traffic accidents, all for a premium of 2,000 won.

The multi-round plan for golf insurance allows customers to prepay for up to 50 rounds at once and then use the ON/OFF function to deduct coverage each time they play. This plan is especially popular among golf enthusiasts who visit courses frequently, and the "multi-round plan" can also be gifted using the gift feature.

With concerts and festivals becoming more active in the fall, the "CREW Deokming Out Insurance" is also gaining popularity. This insurance covers not only injuries sustained during performances but also losses from scams involving fandom merchandise such as concert tickets, photo cards, and figurines traded online.

The daily premium is 1,000 won regardless of gender. If the insurance period is set to three months or more, actual losses from scams on online shopping malls, secondhand platforms, or direct transactions can be compensated up to 500,000 won.

As outdoor activities like hiking and running increase in the fall, the "CREW Activity Insurance" is also attracting attention. This insurance broadly covers various accidents that may occur during outdoor leisure activities, making it suitable for both young people and families.

With Chuseok, the major national holiday in autumn, approaching, the "MY FAM Bad Child Insurance," designed for children to gift to parents who may not be familiar with digital environments, is also drawing attention.

Amid a recent series of telecom hacking incidents, concerns about financial crimes such as hacking, voice phishing, and phishing are growing. The Bad Child Insurance provides real peace of mind by covering financial fraud damages up to 1 million won for seniors, who are considered digitally vulnerable.

A Lotte Insurance representative stated, "Autumn is a time when golf, concerts, and leisure activities are in full swing, and with Chuseok coming up, it is a season when people want to express their feelings to family and friends. The Alice insurance gift-giving service will create a new gift culture, allowing people to care for the safety of their loved ones while also expressing their heartfelt sentiments."
