Linked with the Jeonnam International Ink Biennale... An Autumn Cultural Journey
Haenam County in South Jeolla Province announced on September 25 that it will hold the "6th Nokudang Children's Drawing Contest" in the Gosan Historic Site area on October 25.
This contest is designed to foster children's creativity and cultural sensitivity, as well as to widely promote Haenam's traditional cultural heritage that has been passed down from Master Yoon Seondo of Gosan. Finalists will be selected through a preliminary submission process.

Participants can submit drawings of Korean cultural heritage or self-portraits to the Gosan Yoon Seondo Museum, either in person or by mail, until October 10.
The final round will be held at the Gosan Historic Site on the day of the event, and additional activities such as bubble performances and craft experiences will be available for participating children and their families to enjoy together. In particular, on the day of the contest, the Nokudang Old House, which is not usually open to the public, will be specially opened, providing an opportunity to experience cultural heritage up close.
In addition, the Gosan Historic Site is currently hosting the Jeonnam International Ink Biennale until the end of next month, and the county expects that children will be able to unleash their imaginations alongside masters of ink painting.
