On the 24th, Gochang County in Jeonbuk held the first progress report meeting for the 52nd Gochang Moyangseong Festival in the county office conference room.
According to the county on the 25th, the meeting was presided over by Deputy County Governor Kim Youngsik and attended by relevant departments. It was organized to review the overall progress of the festival, share detailed plans for each program, and discuss areas for improvement.

In particular, during the meeting, officials from each department and township unit thoroughly reviewed the progress of their respective work and discussed future directions for development. They also reaffirmed their commitment to establishing a close cooperation system among departments to ensure the smooth execution of their assigned duties.
This year's Gochang Moyangseong Festival, to be held from October 29 to November 2, will feature a variety of programs blending tradition and modernity under the slogan "Falling in Love with Gochang, Immersed in Moyang."
Key programs will include: ▲ the "Strongest Person Contest" and "Castle Building Challenge," which commemorate the spirit of constructing Gochang Eupseong Fortress; ▲ the Joseon Dynasty reenactment program "Returns 1453"; ▲ the "Family Zone" for family-friendly activities; ▲ performances and experiences tailored for Millennials & Gen Z; and ▲ a marketplace offering a wide selection of food and local specialties.
Choi Soonpil, Head of the County World Heritage Division, said, "As we have carefully reviewed the preparation process through this meeting, we will further refine the detailed execution plans in the remaining period," adding, "We hope for much interest and participation so that the festival can become an opportunity to fully enjoy the history and tradition of Gochang Eupseong Fortress in the atmosphere of autumn."
