Since 2013, the festival has been held in conjunction with the Senior Sports for All Festival. This year, it is expected to become a true celebration of sports for all generations, with participants ranging from the youngest at 6 years old to the oldest at 94 years old.

Gyeonggi Province will utilize renewable energy for the event through the "Green Premium" system (a program that recognizes the use of renewable energy when companies pay an additional fee on top of their existing electricity bills). The opening and closing ceremonies will also use reusable containers, making this a truly eco-friendly festival.

Alongside support for the Sports for All Festival, Gyeonggi Province plans to continue implementing various policy measures, such as the "Opportunity Sports Viewing Pass" and "Opportunity Income for Athletes," and to expand sports infrastructure so that residents can enjoy more opportunities for physical activity.
