This evaluation comprehensively reviewed last year’s project operations by cities, counties, districts, and implementing agencies nationwide to select outstanding organizations.

Mungyeong Senior Club received high marks for operating 27 customized projects-including Saejae Chamgireum, Cafe Alley, Hankkittdukttak, and Wooripyogo-providing jobs for a total of 2,124 seniors.

Director Ok Jeongsu stated, “This award is the result of Mungyeong City’s continued support and the interest of our citizens,” adding, “We will continue to discover diverse job opportunities to help seniors enjoy a healthy and vibrant later life.”

Mungyeong Mayor Shin Hyunkuk emphasized, “The achievements of Mungyeong Senior Club serve as a model case for regionally tailored job creation,” and pledged, “We will continue to actively support the improvement of senior welfare and quality of life.”

This accomplishment is especially meaningful as it not only provides economic opportunities for seniors but also contributes to community engagement and increased social vitality. Mungyeong Senior Club plans to further expand on-site job development and social contribution activities in the future.

The club’s consecutive awards over two years are regarded as evidence that regionally customized job models can offer new solutions for senior welfare and local vitality, even amid an aging population.
