The "MY Cook Homemade Meal Class," operated as part of the Educational Welfare Safety Net Project, is a program that teaches participants how to cook independently and provides culinary skills. The classes are conducted in small groups of up to 10 students.

The homemade meal class, held at each center for two hours per day over four sessions, provides detailed instruction on essential cooking topics such as ingredient preparation and storage, microwave usage, as well as how to use and clean cooking utensils.

In particular, the program focuses on hands-on practice: on the first day, students make meat dishes such as stir-fried pork and cucumber salad; on the second day, rice bowl dishes such as curry rice and mini pork cutlets, along with microwave cooking techniques; on the third day, soup and side dishes such as seaweed soup, fried eggs, and stir-fried fish cakes; and on the final day, participants prepare and eat fried rice with vegetables and kimchi, as well as egg soup.

The homemade meal class program is designed to teach students the methods and skills needed to prepare balanced meals on their own, enabling them to safely prepare food even when they are home alone.
