According to the Gyeonggi Nambu Provincial Police Agency, Lee was apprehended around 3 a.m. on this day for driving under the influence from Incheon to Yangpyeong County, Gyeonggi Province. It is estimated that Lee drove approximately 100 kilometers from Incheon to Yangpyeong while intoxicated.

At the time of his arrest, Lee's blood alcohol concentration was 0.11%, which is above the license revocation threshold. The police conducted an additional blood test at Lee's request and are awaiting the results.

Lee debuted in 2005 through SBS's "People Looking for a Laugh" and gained recognition on tvN's "Comedy Big League" and JTBC's "Knowing Bros." However, in October last year, he announced via his social media that he was being investigated by the police for illegal online gambling and suspended his broadcasting activities. Lee also became embroiled in controversy after it was revealed that he borrowed money from acquaintances, including BTS member Jimin, and failed to repay it.
