The Gyeonggi Job Foundation will host the "2025 Gyeonggi 5070 Job Fair in Yangpyeong" at the Mulmalgeun Yangpyeong Gymnasium on September 30, 2025, to support reemployment opportunities for middle-aged and senior citizens aged 50 to 70.
This job fair is organized in collaboration with local organizations such as the Yangpyeong Job Center and the Yangpyeong Employment Welfare Plus Center, with the aim of expanding customized employment opportunities for job seekers.
At the event, 30 leading local companies, including Jaekwang Logistics Co., Ltd. and Sono Estate Service Co., Ltd., will operate on-site recruitment booths and conduct in-person interviews with job seekers. Additionally, around 50 companies that are unable to participate in person will post job openings at the recruitment bulletin board and accept resumes on behalf of applicants, which will then be forwarded to the companies as part of an indirect recruitment process.
To strengthen job seekers' capabilities, the foundation will offer a variety of programs, including resume and cover letter clinics, career coaching, financial counseling, and booths where seniors can experience promising occupations.
Yoon Deokryong, CEO of the Gyeonggi Job Foundation, stated, "This job fair in Yangpyeong is a meaningful event that provides practical reemployment opportunities for the middle-aged and senior population," adding, "We will continue to expand on-site employment support that residents can truly experience."
Previously, at the job fair held in Yongin on September 16, 573 people participated and 388 attended interviews, resulting in active on-site recruitment. The Gyeonggi Job Foundation plans to hold the largest job fair in the northern region for the second half of the year at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 2 in Goyang on October 14, 2025.
