Gochang County Recruiting Additional Surveyors for the Population and Housing Census

Gochang County in North Jeolla Province is recruiting additional surveyors for the 2025 Population and Housing Census until September 30.

According to the county on September 24, this nationwide large-scale statistical survey will be conducted simultaneously across the country from October 22 to November 18. The survey aims to comprehensively assess the current status of the population, households, and housing, and the results will be used by the central government and local governments in formulating policies and administrative plans.

The recruitment is for field surveyors, and any Gochang County resident aged 18 or older is eligible to apply. Preference will be given to those with prior experience in statistical surveys, holders of computer-related certificates, low-income individuals, families with multiple children, persons with disabilities, and national merit recipients.

Applicants can either fill out the application form on the official website of the 2025 Population and Housing Census or check the recruitment announcement on the Gochang County Office website and submit the required documents in person to the Planning Team of the Planning and Budget Office at the county office.

A county official stated, "Accurate statistics serve as the foundation for designing the future of the region, so we ask for the active participation of our residents."
