Celebrating Victory in the Playoff at the 16th Gunsan Dream Tour
Fourth Foreign Winner in Dream Tour History
Ayana Kon (Japan) has won the Dream Tour, the second-tier tour of the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA).
Kon, an international member, shot a 7-under-par 65 in the final round of the KLPGA 2025 Gunsan Dream Tour 16th event (total prize money: 70 million won) held on September 23 at Gunsan Country Club in North Jeolla Province (par 72, 6,510 yards). With a total score of 10-under-par 134, she tied with Kim Sojeong, then secured victory by sinking a birdie putt in the second playoff hole.

Kon became the first Japanese player to win the Dream Tour. The winner’s prize is 10.5 million won. She is the fourth foreign player to win on the Dream Tour, following Chen Yuzhu (Taiwan), Li Shuying (China), and Yoo Dagyeom (United States).
Kon said, “It is meaningful to become the first Japanese winner and to claim my first Dream Tour victory. I am happy to share this news with everyone supporting me in Japan.” Kon, who previously played in Japan, earned international member status by finishing eighth in the first associate member selection tournament in March 2024, and went on to win the first round of the Jump Tour (third-tier) that same year.
