[Weather Tomorrow] Nationwide Autumn Rain... Up to 60mm Heavy Rain in Seoul Metropolitan Area Over Two Days

The rain will begin in the southern coastal area of Gyeongsangnam-do in the late dawn and gradually spread nationwide from the morning through the afternoon. In the central regions, except for Chungcheongbuk-do, there may be places where less than 0.1 mm of raindrops fall between dawn and morning.

Over the two days of the 24th and 25th, 30 to 80 mm of rain is expected in the west coast of Chungcheongnam-do and the Jeolla region. The Seoul metropolitan area, inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, Daejeon, Sejong, inland Chungcheongnam-do, Chungcheongbuk-do, Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongsangnam-do will see 20 to 60 mm of rainfall. In the west coast of Chungcheongnam-do, Jeonbuk, and the northwestern part of Jeonnam, rainfall may exceed 100 mm, and in the northern inland area of Gangwon, it may surpass 80 mm. Over the three days from the 23rd, Jeju Island is forecast to receive 10 to 60 mm, and the five West Sea islands will see 30 to 80 mm (with some areas exceeding 100 mm).

Morning lows will range from 16 to 23 degrees Celsius, higher than average, while daytime highs will be between 23 and 30 degrees Celsius, similar to or slightly above the seasonal average. In the southern regions, the maximum perceived temperature may reach around 31 degrees Celsius, resulting in some areas experiencing heat.

On Jeju Island, the west coast, and the mountainous areas of Gangwon, winds will be strong, with instantaneous speeds of around 15 meters per second (around 20 meters per second in mountainous areas).

Wave heights will range from 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the East and South Sea coastal waters, and from 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the West Sea coastal waters. On the coasts of Jeju Island, Jeollanam-do, and Gyeongsangnam-do, high waves caused by swells may wash over rocks or breakwaters, so caution is advised to prevent coastal safety accidents.

Fine dust levels will remain 'good' across all regions due to smooth atmospheric dispersion and the effects of precipitation.
