Bando Cultural Foundation to Host Special Concert in Busan for Underprivileged on 6th Anniversary

Bando Construction announced on September 23 that the Bando Cultural Foundation, its non-profit public interest corporation, will host the concert "Starry Night In Busan" for underprivileged groups to mark the foundation's 6th anniversary.

The Bando Cultural Foundation was established by Bando Construction in 2019 to promote the popularization of culture and the arts and to contribute to society. Since its founding, the foundation has continuously supported the expansion of cultural activities for citizens, including marginalized groups, and provided assistance to the struggling arts sector. Through its "Love House Repair" initiative, the foundation has also taken the lead in improving the housing and work environments of vulnerable communities.

This concert, Starry Night In Busan, was planned to share opportunities for cultural performances in Busan, where Bando Construction began.

Park Shindeuk, Director of the Bando Cultural Foundation, stated, "We have prepared this concert in Busan to provide many people with the opportunity to enjoy culture without discrimination and to come together as one. We hope everyone is looking forward to it."

Kwon Hongsa, Chairman of the Bando Cultural Foundation, said, "I am delighted to share this meaningful moment of the Bando Cultural Foundation, which was established in Busan, where Bando Group started, to fulfill our corporate social responsibility. I hope that everyone attending this concert will experience happiness and inspiration, and we will continue to expand cultural opportunities for the underprivileged, support the arts sector, and uphold our corporate social responsibility."

Meanwhile, since its establishment in 2019, the Bando Cultural Foundation has conducted a variety of cultural and social contribution activities, including libraries, galleries, family love drawing contests, and the Love House Repair initiative, reaching approximately 80,000 citizens mainly in the Dongtan area.
