GH to Host 'World CITYTech Expo' Showcasing the Future of Urban Technology at KINTEX, September 24-26

Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) will host the "World CITYTech Expo 2025" from September 24 to 26 at KINTEX in Goyang, where visitors can directly see and experience the future of urban technology.


This is the first time the expo is being held, and under the slogan "Better Cities, Better Life," it will be the largest urban technology exhibition in Korea, offering a comprehensive look at artificial intelligence (AI)-based urban technology innovations and services.


A variety of conferences bringing together industry, academia, research, and government will also take place, providing a venue to share the present and future of advanced urban technologies and foster collaboration.


The event will showcase smart solutions across the urban landscape, including smart buildings, smart government, urban infrastructure, and smart transportation, as well as urban regeneration, redevelopment, and reconstruction. A total of 120 organizations, including GH, Korea Land and Geospatial Informatix Corporation (LX), and Kakao Enterprise, will participate to unveil the latest technologies and services in urban development aimed at improving citizens' quality of life.

In particular, GH will present its major achievements and innovative technologies for realizing future cities, centered around its "H.Y.P.E.R CITY" vision.


Key exhibits will include modular housing, an AI-based smart care platform, a smart safety management system, Gyeonggi-type savings housing, strategies for developing the third phase of new towns, and examples of urban regeneration.


During the expo, GH will host 20 conference sessions, where renowned domestic and international figures and various organizations will participate in in-depth discussions on urban development technologies and policy trends in the AI era, as well as visions for future cities.


Kim Yongjin, CEO of GH, stated, "This expo will be an opportunity to widely showcase the urban development capabilities and technologies GH has accumulated, and serve as a platform to explore the future direction of urban advancement. We will contribute to enhancing the sustainability and competitiveness of cities."
