"A Future Created by Youth, Together with Gochang!" Slogan
Gochang County in North Jeolla Province will host the 2025 Youth Day commemorative event, "Youth Future Pop-up Store," at Damma Book Cafe starting at 1 p.m. on September 27.
According to the county on September 23, this event will be held under the slogan, "A Future Created by Youth, Together with Gochang!" It is designed as a festival where young people take center stage, raise their voices, share their achievements, and communicate with the local community.
At the outdoor venue, there will be busking performances by young people, a commemorative ceremony, and the first Gochang County Youth Awards ceremony. This will be followed by presentations on the achievements of young entrepreneurs and the sharing of startup case studies, allowing residents to hear real-life startup experiences and stories of challenge.
Inside the venue, there will be an exhibition featuring the products of ten young entrepreneurs supported by the county. In addition, various hands-on programs prepared by the youth themselves-such as cake making, solid perfume crafting, and keyring making-will be offered. Coffee and cookies will be provided to visitors, creating a festive atmosphere where families and all residents can enjoy themselves comfortably.
County Governor Shim Deokseop stated, "This Youth Day is not just a commemorative event, but the starting point for Gochang as a youth-led city." He added, "We will provide our full support so that young people can grow as key drivers of the region's future."
