Lotte Department Store Busan Main Branch is hosting the "Sweet Dessert Market" at its Signature Popup Zone on Basement Level 1 from September 19 to October 4, bringing together special dessert gifts and popular brands for the Chuseok season.

Recently, the phrase "Dessert Never Fails" has emerged, reflecting the consistently strong performance of dessert products in the retail industry.

In fact, over the past three months, dessert sales at Lotte Department Store Busan Main Branch have grown by more than 30% compared to the same period last year, with bakery products showing particularly notable growth. This event reflects these trends by offering a variety of desserts and gift sets designed to attract customers' attention.

During the event, visitors can experience popular dessert shops from across the country that are usually hard to find in one place.

First, a popup store for "Saenggwabang," renowned for its royal court dessert experiences at Gyeongbokgung Palace, will be featured.

As K-culture enjoys immense global popularity, interest in K-desserts is also rising. Saenggwabang is showcasing a modern reinterpretation of yakgwa, offering unique flavors such as grain syrup, bellflower root, coffee orange, and vanilla scorched rice. The brand is also presenting Chuseok gift sets that combine various products.

Additionally, "Guraedo Bakery," a popular healthy dessert shop from Hyehwa-dong in Seoul, is making its debut in Busan.

The bakery offers gluten-free and low-sugar desserts such as cheesecakes, Levain cookies, madeleines, and financiers, allowing customers to enjoy both taste and health benefits. Other renowned dessert shops from across the country are also featured, including "Butter and Shelter," a European-style butter sand specialty shop from Cheongdam-dong; "Jjuakjjuak," which sells traditional Korean dessert Gaeseong Juak; and "Yeoulwon," specializing in fruit mochi and fusion dango.

A wide range of gift products targeting Chuseok gift demand is also available.

Traditional sauce brands "Gisundo," "Jukjangyeon," and "Yetgan" have prepared traditional sauce gift sets, while the ginger beverage brand "Horangiui Achim" is offering the "Tiger Morning Chuseok Set." Premium coffee brand "Bacha" is selling a total of 30 types of beans and blended products, and a variety of tea gift sets are available from Indian tea brand "Apki Pasand" and traditional tea specialist "Dahyangyeon," giving customers a broader selection.

Do Sangwoo, head of the food team at Lotte Department Store Busan Main Branch, said, "For this year's Chuseok, we have brought together a diverse array of brands and products so that our customers can enjoy desserts from all over the country and prepare special gifts in one place. We will continue to strive to provide differentiated gourmet experiences for our customers in Busan."
