The Gyeonggi Startup Summit (G-SUMMIT), recognized as the leading global startup investment expo in Korea, will be held at the Suwon Convention Center from October 1 to 2, 2025.
This year, Gyeonggi Province has rebranded the event as "G-SUMMIT" to further strengthen its global scalability and sustainability. The event's operations have been reorganized to focus on investment, and the global cooperation network has been significantly expanded.
As a result, more than 200 domestic and international investors, including major global venture capital firms, will participate. Notably, SoftBank Vision Fund (UK), Assembly Ventures (UK), VentureRock (Netherlands), and Antler (Singapore) will also attend the event.
The number of one-on-one on-site meet-ups between startups and investors has reached approximately 500 pre-matched sessions, nearly doubling last year's figure of around 270.
The venue will feature 20 dedicated meet-up booths, two networking zones, one open innovation zone, and seminar rooms.
This year, in addition to last year's partner South Summit (Spain), Plug and Play, a world-renowned accelerator from the United States, will join as a new partner.
Furthermore, major startup ecosystem organizations from more than 15 countries will participate, including the European Innovation Council (EIC), La French Tech (France), Jetro (Japan), and Techstars (United States).
The conference, held during the event, will feature over 100 global expert panelists who will provide insights into the startup ecosystem and innovation trends.
Park Noguk, Director General of Future Growth Industries at Gyeonggi Province, stated, "This year's G-SUMMIT will serve as a signal for the third venture boom, starting in Gyeonggi Province and expanding globally. We will provide strong investment and networking opportunities so that innovative startups can grow into global unicorns."
