On September 23, Daishin Securities projected that LIG Nex1, leveraging its advanced technologies applicable across the spectrum of cutting-edge weaponry, is poised to emerge as a key player in the drone era. The investment opinion remains 'Buy' with a target price of 5.7 million won.

LIG Nex1 is regarded as the most prepared company for the upcoming era where drones will dominate the battlefield. Lee Taehwan, a researcher at Daishin Securities, noted, "The company possesses core technologies spanning across advanced weapon systems such as Precision Guided Munitions (PGM), Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), Airborne Electronics/Electronic Warfare (AEW), and Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I), putting it in a favorable position to expand into both drone and counter-drone systems." He added, "In addition to its outstanding missile technology, its experience in building kill chains (target detection-identification-elimination) will enable the company to produce highly competitive attack drones."

The reconnaissance and strike hybrid drone (MPD) developed by LIG Nex1 is designed as a vertical takeoff and landing fixed-wing model. It can perform reconnaissance missions during peacetime and switch to strike missions upon target detection. Lee pointed out, "The company is expected to participate in various fields, including the development of the KCD-40, a hybrid transport drone with a payload capacity of 40 kilograms, and the development of low-altitude small unmanned aerial vehicle countermeasures."

The development of unmanned combat systems for land and maritime environments is also drawing attention. Lee explained, "Through its subsidiary Ghost Robotics, the company produces the Vision60, a quadrupedal walking robot with fully modular components, making mission changes and repairs easy." He continued, "In the maritime sector, the company has developed 'Haegum,' a next-generation unmanned surface vessel, which has demonstrated excellent search performance."
