35 Buses on 5 Routes
Extended Service to Hangang Citizen’s Park Event Venue
Guri City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Kyunghyun) announced on September 22 that, in order to provide convenient transportation for citizens during the 40th Citizens’ Day event and the 2025 Guri Cosmos Festival, which will be held from September 25 to 28, the city will extend the operation of local village buses to Guri Hangang Citizen’s Park.

Anticipating large crowds during the festival, the city will deploy 35 buses across five village bus routes (No. 2, 5, 6, 6-1, and 7) running between Guri Hangang Citizen’s Park and subway stations on Line 8-Guri Station, Donggureung Station, and Jangja Lake Park Station. On Citizens’ Day, the buses will operate from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and during the Cosmos Festival, from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Additionally, village buses No. 2, 5, and 6-1 will run in connection with major stops near exits 1, 4, and 6 of Jangja Lake Park Station, further enhancing accessibility for citizens.
Baek Kyunghyun, Mayor of Guri, stated, “With the extension of village bus operations, travel from subway stations and major stops to Guri Hangang Citizen’s Park will become much easier, allowing citizens to enjoy the festival comfortably without transportation inconveniences. We will continue to do our best to provide convenient transportation so that citizens can easily visit event venues in the future.”
