HDC Hyundai Development Company, which received the Asia Economy Grand Prize in the design category at this year's Asia Construction Awards, is striving to create landmarks through specialized designs that reflect the characteristics of the region and site, from the exterior to the internal layout of its complexes.

Cheonan I-Park City Phase 1, located at 34-4 Seongseong-dong, Seobuk-gu, Cheonan, Chungcheongnam-do, is a project with a strong emphasis on design and will be built as a nature-friendly complex embracing Seongseong Lake. The complex features a spacious central plaza with a large park and an open axis for views. The exterior walls are enhanced with a curtain wall look, highlighting a premium feel, while the facade design is accentuated with white and brown tones. In addition to the central plaza that harmonizes with Seongseong Lake Park, the complex includes a large deck-style community space of 3,300 square meters, providing residents with a nature-friendly, healing lifestyle.

This is the first complex in the I-Park branded town, which will eventually comprise over 6,000 households in the Seongseong District. It consists of 11 buildings with 2 basement levels and up to 33 above-ground floors, offering a total of 1,126 units ranging from 84 to 150 square meters of exclusive area. The complex mainly features medium to large unit sizes, which are highly preferred by buyers, and has been designed with south-facing layouts. In particular, all 84-square-meter Type A, 102-square-meter, 118-square-meter, and 150-square-meter units are designed as plate-shaped four-bay or larger layouts to maximize natural light and sunlight efficiency. The only tower-type structure, the 84-square-meter Type B, features an open-plan living room with openings on at least two sides, enhancing comfort.

The community facilities within the complex are divided into sports and education zones. Fitness centers, GX rooms, golf practice ranges, and other sports facilities, as well as libraries and study rooms, are generously provided in relation to the number of households, offering differentiated spaces. The complex is designed with an open piloti structure, with no first floor except for the senior lounge, daycare center, and guest house. The high ceilings enhance the sense of openness and maximize space utilization to protect the privacy of residents on lower floors. Among the interior spaces of the piloti, open areas will be provided as rest spaces for residents.

Cheonan I-Park City offers well-established living infrastructure, including commercial, administrative, and convenience facilities. The complex is located in Seongseong-dong, which is close to numerous industrial complexes such as Cheonan General Industrial Complex and Baekseok Agricultural Industrial Complex, making it ideal for those seeking proximity between work and home.

Residents can conveniently use Dujeong Station on Seoul Subway Line 1, located near the complex, providing easy access to downtown Cheonan, KTX Cheonan-Asan Station, and the metropolitan transportation network. In addition, Samsung-daero, Beonyeong-ro, and Cheonan-daero offer access to Cheonan IC and the Gyeongbu Expressway, while Cheonan Express Bus Terminal and Cheonan Intercity Bus Terminal make travel to the Seoul metropolitan area and surrounding regions easy.

A kindergarten and elementary school are scheduled to be newly established directly in front of the complex, and Cheonan Seongseong Elementary School is located approximately 600 meters away in a straight line. In addition, students can attend Garam Middle School, Dujeong Middle School, Oseong High School, and Dujeong High School. The educational districts in Seongseong-dong and Dujeong-dong, where many private academies are located, are also easily accessible.
