[2025 Asia Construction Grand Awards] DK Asia's 'Royal Park City' Korea's First Resort-Style Apartment City

20th Asia Construction Grand Awards
Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Award ? Brand Category Winner

DK Asia, which received the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Award in the brand category at this year's Asia Construction Grand Awards, is presenting a new residential paradigm called the "Korean-Style Fifth-Generation Premium Resort City" through its housing brand "Royal Park City." By combining cities and resorts, DK Asia is creating Korea's first resort-style apartment culture, moving beyond the uniform supply of fourth-generation apartments.

At this year's awards, the company was recognized for maximizing brand value through residential culture innovation. DK Asia has already ranked third in the high-end residential brand category, as recently announced by the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, becoming the first among major domestic developers to enter the "Big Three" of the high-end market with its own brand.

The name "Royal Park City" combines "Royal," symbolizing premium resort life; "Park," representing relaxation in nature; and "City," signifying urban culture and convenience. The brand's main colors-Royal Gold, Royal Green, and Royal Orange-stand for the wealth and success of residents, the connection between nature and people, and safety and protection, respectively, for the "Royal Park Citizens."

DK Asia's residential philosophy is "a life where premium resort living provides healthy rest and everyday healing." To realize this philosophy, DK Asia has focused on offering top-tier products and differentiated residential services. While traditional housing has been "supply-oriented," DK Asia prioritizes "quality of life" as its core value. Breaking away from the long-standing industry practice of "build and leave," the company directly operates residential services that impact residents' lives, continuously enhancing the value of its cities.

Royal Park City, in collaboration with major hospitals including the International St. Mary's Hospital affiliated with the Catholic Kwandong University College of Medicine, has launched Korea's first "exclusive in-person direct medical service" for residents. Exclusive hotlines for Royal Park Citizens allow for fast medical appointments and 24-hour emergency services, among other healthcare benefits. The "Three Meals Service," provided by Pulmuone Food & Culture and Shinsegae Food, is another differentiated benefit experienced in daily life. The Royal Trinity Lounge, where the Three Meals Service is offered, was placed in a separate commercial facility from the planning stage, rather than as an ancillary facility, to prevent cooking odors and noise from entering the residential complex. Careful attention was paid to the dining area, maximizing natural light and a sense of openness.

Other community facilities have also been built to the standards of top-tier hotels. For the first time in Incheon, Royal Park City residents can enjoy the "Royal Cinema Lounge" for the latest movie releases within the complex, a two-story "Royal Indoor Golf Range" with 50-meter driving distance golf simulators (GDR), a hotel-style "Royal Music Room" for socializing with neighbors, a six-star hotel-style swimming pool with a bade pool, children's pool, and dry sauna, and a fitness center equipped with world-class Technogym equipment. To provide residents with a unique sense of pride, DK Asia allowed free use of community facilities before the residents' association was even formed. A dedicated shuttle bus operates between Geomam Station and Geomdan Sageori Station, with cumulative users already surpassing 600,000. Additional amenities such as Korea's largest resident-exclusive 66-foot power catamaran yacht service, a city sky lounge, and the "Royal Train" mural train are breaking down the boundaries between city and resort living.

Recently, DK Asia created the "Geomdan Buckwheat Flower and Hwangto Simnigil" around the complex, introducing Korea's first buckwheat flower park and hwangto barefoot trail on a 132,200-square-meter (approx. 40,000-pyeong) site. Building on this, DK Asia plans to expand the area into a 12-kilometer "Samsipnigil," developing it as a regional green space and cultural content hub. On the 27th, a special concert for the "Royal Garden Festival" will also be held, further establishing the brand as a cultural leader in the local community.

Jo Jaeman, CEO of DK Asia, stated, "Living in Korea's first premium resort city itself will be a source of special pride for our residents," adding, "We aim to create a residential culture where people can enjoy healing and healthy rest in their daily lives without having to travel far."
