The donated items included 1,080 bags of white rice (20kg each) and 700 food gift sets. These will be distributed to 135 social welfare facilities in the city, 600 low-income households, and 100 households of North Korean defectors, helping them to enjoy a more abundant holiday. The gift sets consist of 17 items across 12 categories, such as sesame oil, soy sauce, glass noodles, pancake mix, sugar, and thin wheat noodles, all commonly used in preparing holiday meals.

Notably, about 50 participants, including Mayor Chung Kimyung and Kim Sungmin, Head of Production at GS Caltex, took part in packaging the 700 gift sets themselves, adding a personal touch of warmth to the event.

Kim Sungmin, Head of Production at GS Caltex, stated, "The past 20 years of GS Caltex working together with the local community have been truly meaningful," adding, "We will continue to closely cooperate with Yeosu City to pursue sustainable social contribution activities in the future."

Mayor Chung Kimyung remarked, "The 'Sharing the Warmth of Love for Chuseok' event, now in its 20th year, has become a strong pillar for our community and a driving force for Yeosu," and expressed deep gratitude to GS Caltex for their ongoing acts of sharing.

Meanwhile, GS Caltex has continued the "Sharing the Warmth of Love for Chuseok" initiative since 2005, providing a total of 1.8 billion won worth of donated goods to vulnerable groups in Yeosu as of this year.
